My name is Diana and I am the Creative Director of Mélange Dolls. I’m happy you stopped by to check out Mélange Dolls. I started this journey when I wanted to buy a doll for my Goddaughter and struggled to find one that was representative of her. There were very few manufactures making dolls that were representative of mixed-race children. When I learned that others expressed the same concerns, so I wanted to fill that gap.

I started this journey when I wanted to buy a doll for my Goddaughter and struggled to find one that was representative of her. There were very few manufactures making dolls that were representative of mixed-race children. When I learned that others expressed the same concerns, so I wanted to fill that gap.
With my background being rooted in the fashion industry as a fashion designer and technical designer, I decided to bring those skills to help me offer diverse dolls to young girls and boys globally. From the designing of the dolls and having them manufactured in Europe to personally hand stitching all the clothing made for the dolls – this is my passion and I want it to show in every doll that is made.
I believe it is very important to have dolls that are representative of all children and as much as possible incorporate features that represents them. This is what motivated me to design dolls that will have an impact on the children’s confidence and self-esteem. It is my dream that all children have toys that represents them. I believe that this creates building blocks, which enables them to grow up to be confident, secure, positive but most importantly proud of their individuality and diversity motivating them to blossom into beautiful, strong and successful people.
